Major brands including Rontan, Black Bee, Engesig, Volkswagen, Agora Telecom, EADS, Berkana and Helibras attended Interseg 2010. For the first time held in Florianópolis, the 10th edition of the exhibit was very successful, as it assembled various exhibitors, which presented the latest technologies, new products and equipment available in the market.
The 8th IACP South American Executive Police Conference, promoted by the International Association of Chiefs of Police, a meeting held concurrently with the exhibit, assembled Brazilian and foreign law enforcement authorities that gave further strength to the panels on important law enforcement themes.
Information technology, intelligence actions for large events and effective combat practices towards urban criminality were the main topics discussed by Ricardo Balestreri, National Public Security Secretary, Luiz Fernando Corrêa, Director General of the Federal Police , Geovaldri Maciel Laitartt, Intelligence Coordinator of SENASP (Brazilian Office of Public Security).
